Adérita

With roots in the Algarve, her artistic development began in Paris, where she worked in advertising and fashion design. These expressive sectors led her to painting, and today the countless exhibitions she visits each year, coupled with her interest for history, have helped her even further to the continuation of her «passion» for the arts.
She uses abstract art to express sensations, impressions and feelings, such as passion. The materials she uses are many, and include canvas, paper, oil, pastel, pigments, fibres and sequins. Everything imagination and art allow her to use. Self taught, colours and movement inhabit her work. Preciousness and prestige serve as a common denominator. The mystery of ancient civilisations,
arabesques and oriental culture are her font of inspiration. With the aim of helping to develop and encourage culture in the Algarve, the painter has created the Algarve Artists Network, in partnership with other artists based in the region.
